*Hi! I'm Toby! My mom left me behind when she moved and her brother, and his family, saved me and is now fostering me until I can find my perfect and loving forever home. Yes, I'm a handsome boy! I'm very loyal and protective over my humans! I'm approx. 2.5 years old and approx. 12-13 pounds(8.5). I'm skittish because I didn't have a great life at my mom's home. My new foster's are teaching me what love is and I'm doing great. If your application is accepted you will be able to talk to the foster's about him. I'm extremely sweet, loving, friendly and playful once I get the chance to know you. You'll see how adorable I am in my video! I'm great with older kids once I get to know them and other dogs. Because I'm skittish, I will not do well around small kids until better socialized. I would love to have a new forever home with another dog because I love to play with other dogs! I like to chase cats. I'm highly intelligent and mind well inside. I'm leash and house trained if taken out regularly. I have a little poo accident only once in a while. I love to go for walks! I also love to go for car rides and ride well. I will need a patient and compassionate owner that has the time to socialize me. I do best in my home environment when it comes to meeting new people. I can learn about them and greet them at my leisure. I have bonded heavily to one of my elderly foster's who is handicapped. I like to be right by his side and we watch television together. I'm very protective over him! I like to sleep right next to him under the covers. I bark at strangers when they come to the door to warn my fosters. I'm a great dog looking for a better life and just need a forever person that will have the time to socialize me and be patient and loving with me! I'm an extremely loving and loyal dog with my forever person and make the perfect little companion!
