Happy Tails

Hi Melanie,

My name is  Heather Raggi. My husband and I had the pleasure of adopting one of your puppies last year. I wasn't sure if you kept updates on your rescued pups but I thought it would be nice to show you a picture of her in our home. She has been a wonderful addition to our family. We adopted her under the name Amora but we then named her Ziva. Although she was predicted to be a boxador (like our other dog), after a mouth swab and $80, we determined she is actually mostly brittany spaniel, boxer, and some other kinds as well. She loves running at our dog park, playing with toys and cuddling with her 95 brother Jax.  I just wanted to share that we had a great experience with you and will keep you in mind for any future pets we plan to adopt.

Thank you for all that you do.

Heather

Just thought I should share how well Spud (Buddy #2) is settling in to his new life :)

Hi Melanie,

I just wanted to give you an update on Shaggy/Scout.  She continues to delight us.  She still has a lot of puppy in her and occasionally chews things she shouldn't but she is so charming and cute we can't stay mad at her.  She also really lifts up her pup-pal, Sandi and gets her moving and playing more. I am attaching a picture of her from the top of our stairs.

She is the sweetest thing ever.  We gave up on the kennel. She does pretty well when we just leave her out with our other dog. She seems to be doing better and better the more she knows us.

Thanks again!

Erin

  • Thor the adopted pet spending time indoors laying around with the family.

Hi Melanie,

We're writing to give you an update on Thor (or Bear as he's now called).  He's settled in very nicely into our family, and we're so ecstatic to have such an affectionate and happy little guy in our life.

Bear has a great time on his daily walks through the beautiful forest trails right by our house.  He was also a huge hit in Whistler village during our ski trip.

Thank you again for working with us to bring Bear to BC!

Cheers,

Joanne & Sean

Hi Melanie!

Just wanted you to know we got Boomer last night.  He has been renamed Oliver which means peace/affection.  He slept good all night & had a good breakfast. We gave him a bath earlier which wore him out so now he is having his second nap of the day.  I sent 2 pictures one of him from when we got him last night & the other is from a few minutes ago.  I just want to thank you for what you do for these fur babies & I will spread the word about your rescue group. You will never have to worry about Oliver we will always make sure he is warm safe & loved.

Wishing you all the best!

Nancy
