My name is Jack! I'm 3 years old and weigh about 13 lb I am a sturdy little boy! I was thrown out of a car in the Tractor Supply parking lot. That is how I ended up in the rescue. I love to be petted and loved on! I love attention! I'm fun-loving, and love to play with other dogs and toys. I do have a birth defect in my back leg which cannot be corrected. I still use that leg when I am running and playing with the other pups. I'm able to jump on and off the furniture with no problem. I ride well in the car. I am crate trained and housebroken if taken out regularly. I follow my foster mom from room to room because I want to see everything that is going on and be involved in as much as possible. I am a typical Jack Russell. I have a medium energy level in the house. I do not try to get in the trash or tear things up. I will try to slip out the door with you if you are leaving because I want to be with you. I come when called. I'm always up for a nice long walk or jog, camping, boating, hanging out on the sofa, etcetera. My biggest drawback is that I come up with the other dogs to be petted and loved on but if you approached me to pick me up, I will cower. I need a home for someone is willing to work with me on this. I am ready and waiting.
