*Hi! I'm Jake! I was surrendered to a high kill shelter and now I'm looking for my new, true and loving forever home! Yes, I'm adorable and the sweetest boy you'll ever meet! I'm approx. 8-10 years old and approx. 10 pounds(9/23). I'm extremely sweet, loving, friendly and playful once I get to know you. You'll see how wonderful I am in my video! I'm great with older kids, cats and other dogs. Small kids scare me. I don't mind other dogs but don't play or interact with them. I would love to be the only dog and get all of the attention. I've learned what love is and I can't get enough! I'm highly intelligent and mind well, inside and out. I'm house and leash trained. I have a very gentle, loving and submissive temperament. You truly couldn't ask for a better dog! I like to go for car rides and ride well. My teeth are in poor shape but my eyes are clear, beautiful and I see fine. I'm quite feisty and move well. I can eat hard food if it's in tiny pieces and soft treats. I'm currently on a high quality, grain free, senior dog food. I follow my foster everywhere she goes. When I'm out in the yard I'm constantly looking back at her. I have a little separation anxiety and bark when my foster leaves. I would not do well in an apartment or condo setting. I love to sleep right next to my human. I love to explore and really LOVE to go for walks. I have a beautiful and soft coat. I really enjoy being petted and loved on! The more, the better! I LOVE belly rubs! I'm ready to learn new things and finally live the good life I so richly deserve! I'd love to be an exciting addition to your wonderful life! I'll provide the unconditional love and you can provide the safe and loving home!
