Hi! My name is Layla! I am 50 - 60 lb and am 2.5 - 3 years old. I have been with the same family since I was a puppy and now they have decided to trade me in for a purebred dog. I am very well trained and very well-behaved indoors. I do not get on the furniture, get in the trash, or counter surf. I know sit, shake, no, down, and come. I will bring a ball back to you. I love to play fetch. I have an excellent temperament! I am very calm and laid-back, and walk well on a leash. I'm crate trained and house trained and will ask to go outside. I love the water! I enjoy being inside and outside. I'm great with other dogs of all sizes, cats, and even pet birds! I love kids! I would make a great therapy dog or agility dog. I walk well on a leash and ride will in the car. I'm very alert and aware of what is going on around me. I don't bark much and like to greet everyone that comes for a visit. I have been around a power wheelchair and do fine. I am very gentle. I would be a great companion for someone of any age. I do need daily exercise though! I would be happy to go for a long walk or a run if you prefer. I am patiently waiting for my real forever home!
