Hi! I'm Roscoe! I'm 5 years old and weighed 44 lb. I don't look like I weigh 44 lbs because of all of my fur and because I'm so short. I am only about 2 feet tall or so at the shoulders. I was turned into a high-kill shelter, but I don't really know why. I am house trained and walk well on a leash. I ride well in the car. I have a submissive temperament. I'm on the timid side so I need someone with the time and interest in helping me learn to trust more people. I'm more drawn to women. If a stranger comes in, I wil justl bark at them but if they get too close, I will just run away. I probably would not do well with children just because their loud noises and fast movements may startle me. I have a beautiful, soft coat and I'm very alert to my surroundings. I only bark when the other dogs bark because they hear something. I am low-to-medium energy. I am now just waiting for my perfect forever home!
