Hi! My name is Rosie! I am about 3 years old and weigh about 12 lbs. I was turned into the local animal shelter by my owner. I'm not sure why. I am extremely calm and laid-back for a Jack Russell. I like to hang with my foster mom and spend the evenings in my foster dad's lap., I would be happy to sit in a lap all day if allowed to. I do like to play for short periods with one of the other dogs. I get along great with all of the dogs though. I bark when someone comes to the door and all of the other dog start barking. I stop when I'm told to. I ride well in the car. I don't try to dash out the door when it is open. I don't get in the trash or beg for food. I eat dry kibble and very seldom get any people food. I'm very sweet and loving. I sleep on my foster's bed. I would enjoy long walks, camping, hiking, boating, etc. I don't know how I am with cats, the rescue doesn't have any. I'm good with kids but won't be adopted into a home with small children because I am so little. I'm ready and waiting for my new forever home!
