My name is Sally. I don't know why I was turned in to the local county animal shelter, but the rescue got me out of there and now I'm looking for my forever home! I am 5 years old and I weigh 17 lbs. I am fostered in Mount Airy, North Carolina but easy, affordable transportation is available. I get along well with the other foster dogs and have started playing with them. I have a very soft coat! I do bark at strangers (I warm up to them quickly though) and when I am excited. One of my favorite things to do is sit in a lap and be be loved on and petted! I sleep on the bed with my foster mom and I follow her from room to room. I'm happy to lay down and wait for her to move on to the next spot that she is going. I get along well with the other foster dogs, men, women, and children. I don't know about cats because the rescue doesn't have any. I have a low to medium energy level. I am very alert to my surroundings and I am smart. I would love to be in a home that someone is there most of the time. I would be happy to hang out with my new family or go on long leisurely walks. I am not fully house trained but I am working on it.
