My name is Zena! I am 3 years old and I weigh approximately 30 lbs. I am fostered in Mount Airy, North Carolina but easy, affordable transportation is available. I was surrendered to a local county animal kill shelter but I'm not sure why because I'm such a sweet, humble girl! I have a submissive temperament and I get along great with cats and with dogs of all ages and sizes. I love being with people and I love being petted even more! Sometimes I will even talk to you in a very quiet manner for some loving. I will follow you around when we are outside together and keep you company. I have a medium energy level and I ride well in the car. I love going for walks and would do well on hikes. I don't bark much, but when I do it's a quiet bark. I don't counter-surf or try to dart out the door if it is open. I am a great companion with lots of love and loyalty to give! (There are two more videos of me on the rescue website.)
I am spayed, up-to-date on my rabies and dhpp vaccines, and I am heartworm negative. My vetting paperwork will accompany me to my new home. Once an application is approved the phone number to my foster will be provided.
